Jivamukti Yoga

Jivamukti Yoga is a path to enlightenment through compassion for all beings, created by Sharon Gannon and David Life in 1984 in NYC ♥ (more info on the Lineage: http://jivamuktiyoga.com/about/gurus )

It is a complete method through five tenets, based on spiritual Focus of the month:

– Ahimsa: a nonviolent, compassionate lifestyle extending to other animals, the environment and all living beings

– Bhakti: set a high intention for the practice

– Dhyana: Meditation is part of every class

– Nada: deepen the ability to listen through music, develop a sound-body (all is vibration ♥ )

– Shastra: ancient yogic teachings & philosophy, including Sanskrit chanting, drawn from the Focus of the Month
